W.E.I.R.D.S.H.I.F.T. is a playful nod to the mad scientific experiments that might just save humanity, or just maybe take a unexpected swing for the worst and even destroy it… W.E.I.R.D.S.H.I.F.T. is rooted in pop culture yet draws inspiration from a myriad of basis - picture Back to the Future, clad in Gore Tex pursuing outdoor adventures…

As the Featured Artist, there was only one natural choice. Mr Max Loeffler. A staple Volcom favourite artist, taking inspiration from retro science-fiction books, Max urge is to translate what can only be felt and not directly seen, and to amplify that visually.

Max provides the graphical mood of the collection through an iconic single artwork fusing the idea of how Humanity and Science come together. True to Experiencia

For the Girl’s W.E.I.R.D.S.H.I.F.T. collection metamorphosis into a more street based line. Taking direct inspiration from women’s skating and featuring oversize baggy fits for movement and statement. Electrical experiments provide the basis of the Colour Story, bold colours remind us of lightning strikes, striking the balance between rhythm and of course a shift to the weirder side of our reality...

W.E.I.R.D.S.H.I.F.T. leans heavily on a futuristic, modern and mystical colour palette to create a sense of fun and pop culture through the line. A deep purple and a energetic Atlantic green work together, fusing different pieces of the collection. The Silhouettes for both men and women underline that outdoor vibe, large jackets and different weights, polar fabrications and fleeces with pop colours bring that W.E.I.R.D.S.H.I.F.T. sizzle to your autumn wardrobe in true Volcom fashion.
