Over the past 4 years, Dan Brisse has created his own genre in snowboarding, and that is hitting massive street spots. Through numerous opening and closing video parts and three consecutive medals in X Games Real Snow, Brisse has pushed street snowboarding to bigger and more dangerous level then it has ever seen. In 2012 Brisse claimed the award for Best Rider Performance in the Reels Film Festival for his closing part in Volcom's #IP2. In 2011, Dan was voted #3 in Snowboarder Magazine's top 10 riders of the year. Even after achieving as much as he has, "Breezburger" has remained the humble, hard working Midwesterner he is and will be for the rest of his life. Dan is one of the most genuinely stoked snowboarders you will ever come across, and his love for snowboarding is unsurpassed.
What was your first snowboard: Liquid Mercury!
What was your first snowboard movie that got you hooked: Decade.
Best trip: Minnesota or Europe, both were real good in different ways.
One item you always have in your snowboard pants: Season passes.
Besides snowboarding: Shooting photos.
Currently: Life's going by sooo fast. Years seem like months, and days seems like minutes. I keep relaxed by understanding that there is nothing I'd rather be doing with my time than snowboarding and spending it with family and friends, so I guess, let the good times roll!
In my ears: Thoughts on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
It's important for me to: Be happy and have fun. Respect others for who they are and what they bring to planet earth.
