Volcom’s Peanut Butter and Rail Jam snowboarding series was developed to take a different path then other contest predecessors by offering something new to amateur snowboarding. The event encourages involvement from the community while promoting the local youth within the region. These up and coming riders put their skills on display in a supportive and positive environment. Competitors are judged on the tricks they land, never on their bails upon three unique snowboarding features. This all ages event has no contest entry fee allowing riders to compete in 1 of 4 divisions including: 15 & Under, 16-21, Women’s Open, and Men’s Open. Free lunch is provided to all competitors and prizes are awarded in all categories. An additional cash prize is also awarded in the Men’s Open division!
This year we focus on offering fun contest setups for all divisions and age groups, rippable by all as this is the main goal of these events: gather your local snowboard scene around a fun day, but also some online Instagram contests all season long at some selected resorts.
See you on the hill!
