Our wild and unstoppable spirit at Volcom pushed us build ourselves one of these expensive travels wall map that you can find in some decoration stores.
What do you need?
- A map
- Polystyrene or Cork tiles
- Pins
- Tape
- Glue
- Cutter
- Pen
Step 1: If you don't have a polystyrene/cork plaque of the perfect map size, assemble different tiles and tape them together.
Step 2: Pull the map on the polystyrene/cork and trace the outline of the map. It will facilitate the application of the glue.
Step 3: Apply glue to the polystyrene/cork.
Step 4: Place your map on the glue. Take special care to gradually pull the map in order to avoid the air bubbles.
Step 5: Cut the plaque to adjust it to the size of the map with a cutter.
Step 6: Pins your travels and start dreaming about the next destination!
